The Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) campus is situated in Sintok, 48 km to the north of Alor Star and 10 km to the east of Changlun. The 1,061 hectare campus, which was originally a tin mining area, is surrounded by beautiful scenery, lush tropical forests and mountains. In addition, two rivers flow inside the campus, the Sintok and Badak rivers, creating a most pleasant and serene environment. UUM has one of the most beautiful and modern campuses in the northern region.
University Teaching and Learning Centre (UTLC), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) would like to invite all professors, faculty members, educators, educational personnel and postgraduate students, to submit abstracts and full research papers for oral paper presentations at the 6th Inspirational Scholar Symposium (ISS 2021). The theme of the symposium for this year is, “Strengtening Teaching and Learning Beyond the New Norm”, which encapsulates the experiences that we currently face within the educational contexts due to Covid-19 outbreak.
The 6th Inspirational Scholar Symposium (ISS 2021) aims to promote and disseminate knowledge concerning topics and technologies related to teaching and learning. You are invited to submit papers and present new ideas and innovations and research results in the relevant areas.
Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak, the 6th Inspirational Scholar Symposium (ISS 2021) will be held virtually/online only. Nevertheless, abstract submission and publication processes will remain the same. The online ISS 2021 will be held on November 16 - 17, 2021. Please note these important dates in your calendar while you begin your preparation to attend and present your valuable work from now.
We hope you will be able to join us in ISS 2021, a virtual congregation of esteemed academics, researchers and practitioners from various institutions to share knowledge, ideas and best practices in teaching and learning. The ISS also aims to encourage and enhance innovative practices and the use of technology in developing knowledge in all areas, hence strengthening teaching and learning beyond the norm.
